1976 -1977 BOYS’ BOWLING TEAM

INDUCTION CLASS OF 2006

In 1976 the JMHS Boy’s Bowling Team and Coach John Dunzelman rolled their way to the top of the NJSIAA by winning the Shore Conference South, the NJSIAA South Division, and the NJSIAA State Finals.  Three team members were selected to the All Shore Team – 1^st Team Dave McPhearson, 2^nd Team Dave Hall and 3^rd Team Bill McCormack.

Captain Dave McPhearson had the highest average of 183 in the Shore Conference and 2^nd highest series (626). He had a 268 high game in the NJSIAA Division C Games.  Dave Hall rolled a 241 with a 590 series in the NJSIAA Division C win.  In the NJSIAA State Finals, Dave Hall rolled a high series of 617 with a 184-202-231 set.  Team members Howie Meyer, Keith Risner, and Bill McCormack all contributed toward the 982-923-895-2740 series for the State Title.  Team members Dan Paynter, Wayne Osse, Mark Jardot, Michael Jardot and Jim Robinson and Gary Rosenberg helped roll the team to the Shore Conference Title.
